Would be reallly helpfull if you can share the total number of trucks available in Vietnam and the number of overloading cases.

In response to your e-mail on the quantity of validated trucks in Vietnam, we provide the following:

Total number of trucks tested for technical safety and environmental protection according to statistics in May: 1,326,289

Inside:

- Trucks with payload up to 2 tons: 701,406;

- Trucks with payload from 2 tons - 7 tons: 369,192;

- Trucks from 7 tons - 20 tons: 248,868;

- Trucks over 20 tons: 6,823;

- Specialized vehicles (for ex.

concrete pump truck, fire truck ...): 32,295;

-    Others: 102,020.

Statistics of overloaded trucks cannot be counted, and I apologize to you about this.

This statistics is based on traffic tickets for violations of the Traffic Law and it is kept by the Police or Traffic Inspector
